Terms & Conditions


(1)  Payment

String Wood Guitars & Amps must receive payment in full before any items are dispatched. All Product Prices, Features and Specifications are Subject To Change Without Notice. Unless otherwise stated any prices quoted by String Wood are inclusive of sales tax and duty.

This does not include any taxes or duties when shipping to non EC countries. Please check with your countries customs office for further details.

(2) Delivery

Please note - we are only able to deliver goods to the card holders billing address.

 PLEASE NOTE: Any Order Which leaves us at 3pm via courier, the responsibility will lie solely with the courier regarding delivery. We will inform you via Email with your tracking number once your Order has been dispatched (if provided).

 Responsibility for ownership of the goods passes to purchaser once they are delivered. All items are fully insured against loss or damage whilst in transit. Damages/shortages must be notified to String Wood within 48 hours of delivery. The charge for delivery will be shown at the final checkout stage before final submission.

 All orders received by 1pm will be dispatched within two working days for next day delivery on all In stock items (Tue-Fri).

Please allow additional lead time for all special order and back order items. 

(3) Cancellations / Refunds

Refunds can only be made by the method originally used to pay for the goods. Credit/debit card refunds will be processed within 30 days but usually at our earliest convenience. Please note transactions usually don't show up instantly.


(4) Warranties

New items come with a minimum 12 month warranty against manufacturer defect. Some manufacturers offer extended warranties which will be enclosed with the product. Second-hand items come with no warranty against manufacturer defect.

When an ex-demonstration or shop worn model is sold it may not necessarily be in perfect condition and have had repairs, marks, scratches and/or other defects. Customers should check the goods are of a satisfactory condition for their particular use and requirement before purchasing. You can do this by contacting us via phone or email for more information.


(5) Faulty Goods

Faulty goods, where the fault is due to manufacturing defect, it will be exchanged or refunded where possible within the first 7 days of purchase.

After that time and for the remainder of the warranty period, faulty goods must be returned to String Wood Guitars & Amps.

For the duration of the warranty any faults due to manufacturer defect will be repaired at no charge to the customer. Once repaired, goods will be returned to the buyers address at no charge. Persistently faulty goods may be exchanged or refunded at the Manager's discretion. Faults due to misuse are not covered by any warranty.

 14 Day Returns Policy - Mail Order / Online Sales Only !

Goods may be returned to String Wood Guitars & Amps up to 7 days after date of purchase for a full refund or exchange provided that:

5.1. The goods are returned in the same condition they were sold, including all original packaging materials.


5.2. The goods are a normal stock item and have not been specially ordered at the customer's request.


5.3. A valid receipt or proof of purchase is produced.


Delivery and collection charges are not refundable.

Products on Sale are excluded from the return policy
